Perhaps the most valuable asset of a global software company like Microsoft is the Product Authentication Label that is imprinted on the face of its installation CDs and packaging. Microsoft required the translation of its Product Authentication Label for Windows into virtually every major language on the planet.

While the text was minimal, the task required extensive legal and cultural research. The result was a master set of disks that required the highest level of security at every stage of production from acquisition to final delivery.

The languages for this project included Arabic, Czech, Slovak, Danish, Dutch, Korean, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazilian and European), Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Spanish and Turkish.
